Life is so beautiful! Even on a cold, cloudy day, it is beautiful. Some people call a day like today ‘dreary’ but I don’t…I can see the beauty in it all around me. It’s like looking at people! Do you just see the outward appearance or do you look for and see the inner person? So many times we are quick to judge someone or something by the outward appearance, but that is not the true person or object!
Take for instance an old, worn, dusty Bible. Once you open it and start to read it, you find all the answers to everything in life you can and will possibly face. Does the outward appearance of that Bible change what is truly on the inside of it? Think about it!
The next time you see someone who is ‘different’ from what the world considers beautiful, perfect, etc. step back and take a look at that person through God’s eyes! In His eyes we are all beautifully made and He is constantly molding, shaping and refining us. He created each and everyone of us and He doesn’t make a mistake! After all…it is not our ‘housing/body/looks’ that is the real us, the real ‘us’ is the spirit inside of that housing. He gave each of us our own will and it is up to us what we do with it!
For me…my will is to make God/Jesus, my Father, my Daddy, my Savior, my everything…my top priority in my life and family. To follow His word! To be obedient! To become more like Him everyday and to let His love and light shine through me, my words and my actions! YES! Life is Beautiful when you have Jesus as your constant companion and friend!
My prayer for everyone of you today is that you see the beauty in everything and everyone around you today, Thru My Daddy’s Eyes!
Love and Blessing Always,
~ Judy ~
Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5&6
In these days we are now in, people are rude, have little or no morals, are disrespectful or even evil. It tells us in the Bible that there will be people like this ~ it’s just hard to actually experience it! We as Christians, Believers, are commanded by God to love one another as He loves us. How does He love us? Well, first He created us and He created us in His image. We are His children and He loves us and wants only good for us. He never leaves us nor forsakes us and He provides our every need. Most importantly He loves us as much as He loves Jesus!
Now you may say, ‘But there are people who are homeless, hungry, etc! What about them?’ Now when God created us, He also gave us our own will and He will not go against our will! We have the will to trust and believe God or to trust and believe ‘man’! We have the will to make Jesus the Lord of our lives for always, no matter what, or to blame God when something bad happens in our lives. Oh, it’s easy to TRUST Him when things are going well, but what about when they aren’t?
I know that God, my Daddy, is always with me no matter what I have gone through or am going through. I know that He has a Plan for my life that is far better than any thing I could ever dream of and I also know that no matter what, He is there to see me through every trial, every tribulation and show me the way out!
Now where does sowing and reaping come in? Well, God’s Word tell us that ‘God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that will he also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, be he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. And let us not grow weary for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.’ Galatians 6: 7-9 God has a ‘due season’ for all of the seeds we plant ~ good seeds as well as bad seeds! These days everyone is saying something about karma! Well, it’s not karma, it’s the Word of God, our Father!
So when someone does you wrong or you hear of all the evil, the lies being told, the corruption, just remember that God, your Daddy, has you in His hands and instead of living in fear, complaining, questioning, simply TRUST Him and pray for those that don’t know Him to have their eyes and hearts opened up to see the light! That, my friend, is walking in the Love of God and sowing good seeds! Those who are sowing bad seeds will reap their harvest!
Be blessed and remember God loves you and so do I! ❤
Love and Blessings,
~ Judy ❤ ~
Our world today has become so materialistic and so judgmental that looking and listening to others has made me stop and think! How do we see others and do we really see the person? In other words do we look at the clothes they wear, how they dress, the kind of car they drive, the house they live in, the neighborhood they live in, how much money they have or do we look to see the person on the inside of the window dressings or lack of?
Two of my mother’s favorite says when I was growing up were…”Pretty is As Pretty Does” and “Beauty is Only Skin Deep”. Well over the years I have learned that those sayings are so very, very true! I was very blessed to have a mother who wasn’t prejudiced or judgmental of a person’s outward appearance. She would feed you and give you whatever you needed no matter how much money you did or didn’t have or what you looked like! She saw the true person on the inside!
The ‘Beauty is Only Skin Deep’ was revealed to me in a lot of different situations, but one that is dearest to my heart is the one that was Mrs. Carter. She was the wife of my husband’s Regional Manager and also a relative of my father-in-law’s employee. We were invited to their house one eventing. Now Mrs. C had had a stroke that left one side of her face disfigured. As I was introduced to her, I looked into her eyes and I saw one of the most beautiful people I had ever seen. As we talked and got acquainted it was like looking into her spirit. Then it came to me ~ ‘Beauty is Only Skin Deep’! I only met her that one time face to face, many, many years ago, but to this day I can still see her beauty!
I have also known quite a few people that were absolutely beautiful on the outside, but when you saw how they treated others, how they lived their lives or how they talked, then you knew that the expression ‘Pretty is As Pretty Does’ was also true ! 🙂
I grew up surrounded by a lot of wealthy, ‘big named’ people and I learned at a very early age not to judge people by what they ‘have’ materially! The money and material possessions don’t make the person! Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately) I learned also at a very early age about snobs and hypocrites! Usually the ones whose wealth came from starting out with nothing and working and building into abundance were the nicest, most sincere, most generous, honest people. The snobs and hypocrites were the ones whose wealth was ‘handed to them’ and they never had to work for anything or the ones who didn’t have much but wanted everyone to think they did! 🙂
Here is an example of someone we knew years ago who was the pharmacist in the small town we lived in Mississippi. He not only had the largest ‘Drug Store’, but also the busiest! He was a very wealthy man! He never flaunted his wealth, he was down to earth and one of the kindest, most generous men in town! Now he had a very nice home but it wasn’t a ‘castle’ to show the world how much money he had, he had several airplanes and he, his wife and his children (grown and/or almost grown) each drove one of the finest, most expensive brand name automobiles made at that time. One day, he drove to the largest city in Mississippi to one of the largest dealers of this brand of automobile to buy a new one for his wife. Now, his attire did not yell ‘I am rich’! He had on jeans, a nice sport shirt and looked like any ordinary, plain fellow walking into the car dealership! He walked in, looked around at the different models and out of the several salesmen standing around not one came to ask if they could help him! Finally after spending a good bit of time looking and waiting for a salesman to help him, he started to leave. He walked up to one of the salesmen and told him that he had come to buy a new car for his wife, but since no one showed any interest he would take his business elsewhere. Then he pulled the CASH out of his back pocket that he had to make his purchase with, showed it to them and left to never return again! Moral: Never Judge Someone By Appearance!
We all judge, jump to conclusions about people we don’t know and too many times don’t look to see the real person on the inside! God made us ALL in His image and He doesn’t make junk! It’s up to us to take the time to ‘look into the eyes of the person’ and to maybe even ‘walk in their shoes’ before we form an opinion of them! And the best of all is to let the Holy Spirit be our guide! When we learn to listen to Him, we are never steered wrong!
Have an abundantly blessed and prosperous day!
Love and Blessings,
~ Judy ~
We each have been given a gift from God, even if you don’t know at this time what your gift is. I always knew that God has placed in each of us our own unique gift, but for years I didn’t know what mine was. One day 7 years ago I asked Him to show me what my gift is and one week later He revealed it to me. Over the last 7 years He has been teaching, guiding, fine tuning and developing my gift and will continue to until the day I go Home. This is because this is what I have asked Him to do. I want to continue to grow and perfect my gift. Otherwise it will be wasted and after all, it is my gift from my Daddy!
Now, when I say we each have a unique gift, I don’t mean that we are the only ones who have it. For instance, there are those who have musical gifts and even though they may play the same instrument or sing the same song as someone else, their style and their talent is unique and there is a difference! The same goes for artists who paint, sculpture, draw, sketch, etc. For those in ministering or working with people in different situations, each is unique in their gift. In photography, there are so many different types and styles and yet each photographer has a unique gift. We need to cherish and be thankful for our gift.
Too many times we may compare ourselves to others who have gifts in the same ‘category’ as ours, and even feel we aren’t as good as someone else! This is wrong! When we do this we are insulting our Daddy! He gave each of us a unique gift and we need to learn to recognize and be thankful for it! It may be the way we hear something; the way we have of saying something or the way of seeing something! We need to use the Passion we have for our gift and let it shine through no matter what our gift is. Learn to appreciate others with the same or like gift; share with each other and learn from each other. Praise each others work and be happy for them for what they are accomplishing. We are all blessed and we are all Unique!
Have a Wonderfully Blessed Day!
Love and Blessings Always,
~ Judy ~
For those of you who don’t know me, I thought I would give you a brief description of who I am! 🙂
Hi, I am Judy! I am a Child of God, a wife, married to a wonderful man for 52 years, mother of 2 grown children and 2 children-in-love who are compassionate, God loving/living children , Debbi/David and Skip/Sara, MiMi of the 5 greatest granddarlings God ever created, sister, aunt and friend to many! My passions are my Lord Jesus, my family (both 2 legged & 4), Nature, God’s canvas for His greatest Masterpiece and photography to capture and have forever memories! ♡
I am not an amateur nor am I a professional photographer! I am a passionate, ever learning, always experimenting, always improving (hopefully) photographer and artist! I enjoy capturing, with my camera, the beauty around me in things that I see through my Daddy’s eyes and sharing it with others. I want my photographs to tell a story and to radiate with the love, beauty and compassion that I see in them!
Photography is an art! Instead of using brushes, oils and canvas to paint a fine painting, I use my camera!God blessed me with this gift and the passion for it! He is constantly guiding and teaching me through other photographers. We are all unique and can learn from each other! I love to watch my Daddy work in my life every day! 🙂 It is so much fun to see how much He loves His children and how much He does for us each and every day!
I love life and I love living it! I hate negativeness and won’t tolerate lying! I always look at the glass 1/2 full and never 1/2 empty! I am never bored. I love laughter, children’s especially, gentle rains and rain storms…no hail or high winds, animals of all kinds, but especially our Dolly, Rosie, Sissi, Desi and Serena; Debbi’s Lucy and Skip’s Trusty!
Life is beautiful, if you don’t listen to the news, politicians or doomsayers! When you feed on the Word of God; believe what He says in His Word and trust Him, then you develop that very close, personal relationship with Him and KNOW that He is your source for everything in your life! He is your Daddy and is not only always there for you, He is always there with you! He created you in His image! You have a ‘first name’ relationship! 🙂 Life is short, so please slow down, look around at the beauty all around you and enjoy each blessing that comes your way. Share God’s love with others through your smile and just by being you!
Have a Wonderfully Blessed Day!
Love and Blessings,
God is so good! It has been 7 years since I asked Him to reveal what my gift is from Him! That’s when I discovered my gift of photography and my passion for it. I’ve never looked at my gift as a way of making ‘a living’ or becoming ‘famous’. No, I am not a Professional Photographer (one who makes their livelihood from their photography), I am an Amateur Photographer/Hobby Photographer. The title Professional does not mean that a photographer with that title produces any higher quality photographs than one without that title! It simply means that they charge for their work and it is how they make their living!
Nature, landscapes, flowers, sky, clouds, trees, waters, any of God’s greatest masterpiece is where my passion lies, but I am always eager to learn, to improve, to grow and to see what my Daddy has in His plans for me. Around 2 years ago He opened a new door for me. Now anyone who knows me knows that I am a HUGE animal lover. Three years ago my Saydee, my constant companion and best friend of 14 ½ years left me to go live with Jesus and I had an enormous hole in my heart to fill! During this time I discovered Harbored Souls Rescue.
To make a long story short…I found my ‘heart hole filler’, my Sissi and I made friends with Karen LaCaze Dussel, the founder and owner of Harbored Souls Rescue. This is, in my opinion, the best Rescue around. Everyone involved, Karen plus Foster Moms and Dads, love these precious creatures and bring them into their homes to teach them to trust again, to heal their wounds and show them that they are loved and very special. They come out of the shelters scared, some sick, untrusting, and not understanding what had happened to them. They are made ready for their Forever Home and Family and live out their lives surrounded with the unconditional love they deserve. I followed HSR on Facebook, watching the precious dogs they rescued and found homes for. Then about 2 years ago, Karen, contacted me to see if I would be interested in helping them out by taking photos of the dogs they had for adoption at the Adoption Events and the “Happy Ending” photos of the dogs with their new family when they were adopted! Now I was at that time, a Nature Photographer, but I said yes because of my love for dogs! This opened another door for my gift and I am so grateful! Now I want to share a few of the precious 4-legged children I have had the privilege of photographing!
Waiting to see what my Daddy has planned next! There is no limitation with Him!
Have a blessed day!
Love and Blessings,
~ Judy ~
I just want to share some memories of 2013 through my photos! I capture the memories and paint them with my camera! Enjoy!
I hope some of these put a smile on your face!
Love and Blessings,
~ Judy ~
A new year that is now in it’s 4th day! Some people are always making ‘New Year’s Resolutions’, which anyone seldom keeps! When I look back at 2013, yes it had it’s challenges and it’s trials, but it also had it’s rewards. Besides, last year is gone and so we move on! I have never been one that is always saying, ‘Oh, I wish I had done ……..’ or ‘If only…….’! What was or was not done or said yesterday is gone, dead and buried! Tomorrows never come! There is only TODAY! IT IS ALWAYS TODAY!
We all need to strive to put the most into and get the most out of each day as it comes. By that I mean, to be a blessing to as many as you can and to stop and appreciate the people and the beauty around you. Take time to smile at strangers; tell someone you love them; show appreciation to someone(s) for being a blessing(s) in your life and most importantly take notice of the things that God is doing for you each day!
I love to watch God work in my life! Everyday there is something that puts a smile on my face and I KNOW that it was God! It can be little things such as finding something you have been looking for or thinking of someone you haven’t heard from in a long time and suddenly get a call, text or mail from that person! When you stop and take notice, you will be surprised at how many times in one day He has done something just for you! And when we share His love with someone, smile at a stranger, give someone a helping hand, are nice to someone who is rude, then we are doing something for Him! ❤ ‘Putting the most into and getting the most out of’ each day!
Have a blessed day and a blessed, above and beyond 2014!
Oh, I want to share some of my blessings from my Daddy with you!

TRY ~ This is one word which should have probably never been in our vocabulary!
That’s because people are not becoming like God, they are opening the door to the devil in their lives and becoming like him! Everything is about material things, money, looks, titles, positions and the list goes on and on! All of these things have become idols and God is placed on a shelf! When we make God first and foremost ~ top priority in our lives then He is FIRST and MOST IMPORTANT, these other superficial, temporary things are put on a shelf and it is surprising how wonderful are lives become. He is our Source, our Provider and when we learn to not only have faith, but to also TRUST Him, it is amazing how all our needs and desires are met! Worry is replaced by a total peace that actually does pass all understanding! And that’s my Word for Today!
Love and Blessings Today and Everyday!
~ Judy ~
Today is such a beautiful day and so full of blessings. We need to concentrate on them instead of all the negative, evilness going on around us! I know who I am in Christ Jesus ~ I am the Righteousness of God ~ I am a Child of God, created in His image. I am loved by my Daddy and I am definitely my Daddy’s girl! He is my Source, my Provider, my Healer, my Everything! With Him nothing is impossible and without Him there is nothing ~ a void ~ a life of emptiness, loneliness, sorrow, unrest, fear and no peace!
My life is full of joy, laughter, love, peace, security and a knowing of who I am and where I am going for all eternity. I am so thankful that Jesus loves me enough to take upon Himself my sins, sicknesses, diseases, lack and any and everything that could ever come against me to the cross! He is my Lord, my Savior, my Friend, My Healer, my Advocate! Hallelujah! Have a Blessed Beyond Measure day! Jesus loves you and so do I!
