Another year has come and gone! God’s Mercy is new every morning and it’s also new with each New year! I don’t believe in New Year’s resolutions ~ I believe in beginning each new year with God’s Mercy and Fresh Beginnings!
I believe that 2017 is going to be a year of fresh beginnings for all that are willing to put God first and top priority in their lives; willing to slow down in their ‘busy’ lives and take notice of those around them ~ family, friends, strangers; willing to show love and appreciation to/for others; willing to forgive and willing to ‘walk in others shoes rather than to judge them’!
I know that since I have learned to start my day with “Good Morning, Jesus! What are we going to do today to be a blessing?” I am happier, healthier, have more peace and joy than I have ever had! No, I am not perfect and I have a long way to go, but the most important thing is that with each day, I walk closer with my Lord, I hear His voice clearer and I see blessings and miracles all around me!
With God ALL things are possible, He NEVER leaves me nor forsakes me, and by putting ALL of my TRUST in Him I live with HOPE (Earnest Expectation) and KNOWING that NO WEAPON formed against me can prosper; that ALL of my needs are met and that God’s Plans for me are ABOVE AND BEYOND anything I could ever imagine!
It’s wonderful and I love to see my Daddy work in my life; the lives of our children, friends, loved ones; prayers answered daily and blessings and miracles large and small happening all around! I am looking forward to seeing what all God has in store for all of us this year!
I love you all and Be Blessed to Be a Blessing,
~ Judy ~
Our God is so Awesome! These are exciting times for Christians, Believers and all of God’s Children. We just saw God’s Divine Intervention in our election for a new President of our country! And yes, it was God’s Intervention, but only because for the first time in a long time His children united and prayed, trusted and believed! Hallelujah!
There is nothing that God can’t do, but He needs us to do our part. What is our part? It is praying earnestly, not doubting the outcome of our prayers, but trusting God and knowing that whatever the answer is, He has His plan and that we will be okay! That’s what happened with this election…and everyone was shocked! The other party! The media! Probably the entire world! But we weren’t!
You see, when you trust God you aren’t praying, “Well if it’s Your will, O Lord.” No, you are putting your will in to join with His will! He can’t go against your will and that is what stops a lot of answers to prayers! That and doubt!!! Some of us may not have really seen Trump as Presidential material, but God did! He called him to run for this office and He has anointed him to fill it!
Now what we all have to do is continually pray for God’s guidance by the Holy Spirit to lead President Trump in his decisions, words and actions. To continually pray protection for him and his family and staff because he has really made satan mad! I have been praying for the last 8 years for things hidden to be revealed when it comes to our government and the elected officials that were being manipulated and controlled by satan. And PRAISE GOD they have been!
satan (and no I DON’T capitalize that name) is furious because God’s Children have awakened and taken their place and their stand! He is nothing but a wimp and has no power unless we give it to him! Well, his ‘power’ has been taken away from him and he knows that this is only the beginning!
Don’t let anything that satan is doing now or will try to do in days to come, take your eyes off Jesus! Continue to Stand, Pray, Thank God for what He has done and is doing, Praise Him and Rejoice! Together we are united with our Daddy and are Victorious! HALLELUJAH!
I am so in love with my Daddy! Every morning is a new day filled with new blessings, prayers being answered, promises being fulfilled and new challenges, opportunities and successes!
The ‘worldly’ happenings going on these days are the words in the Bible being fulfilled. (Read the back of the Book!) When I was younger and before I was Born Again, those words frightened me. Then I became Born Again, Spirit Filled and got to know and develop a close, personal relationship with Jesus, God my Father/Daddy and the Holy Spirit! Now I’m not frightened ~ I’m excited!
I have never felt so loved, so free, so happy, content, blessed and fulfilled in my life! I don’t carry the ‘cares’ of this world. I don’t worry about temporal things. I KNOW that my Daddy is with me, Jesus is my constant companion and The Holy Spirit is guiding my every step! And I KNOW where I am spending eternity!!!
If you don’t feel like this, you can! It’s so simple! Get in a good strong, Spirit Filled Church, that teaches you the truth from the Word of God! Fellowship with Believers! Read the Bible and ask God to give you clear understanding. Spend time just fellowshipping and loving on Jesus! And spend time listening to what He is saying to you through the Holy Spirit! And most important of all ~ make Jesus Christ the Lord and Savior of your life! 💘
Have a wonderfully blessed day and if you need any help getting there, feel free to contact me!
I have changed the name of my Blog from ‘Thru My Daddy’s Eyes’ to Thru My Daddy’s Eyes & Heart’. Every since He presented my with my Gift, my Passion and my Love of Photography, I have been asking Him to let me see the world, the beauty, everything around me through His eyes.
It started out with praying to let me see the beauty around me through His eyes and that was wonderful! I’ve always loved any and everything to do with nature, trees, flowers, grass, ponds, lakes sky, clouds, etc! Soon I noticed that I was even seeing colors in all nature differently ~ more vivid, more alive!
Then one day when I was talking to my Daddy, I heard, ‘you need to see everything around you through My eyes.’ Well, this was different, I started seeing not only nature, but also people through His eyes and not just the beauty, but things that I knew hurt His heart. These are the things that I knew I needed to pray about!
Now, the reason for the change…I was reading (absorbing) a book that I hadn’t read in a while! A book that had a profound effect on me spiritually the first time I read it and this time a new stronger, deeper more profound effect! It was like when you read a scripture hundreds of times and then there is the time you read it again and…it has a new revelation for you! Wow! This is what happened to me. In this book, He said that His people may see things through His eyes, but He wants us to see things through His heart! Because when we see things through His heart we are seeing through His LOVE! This is what I want so…the change…Thru My Daddy’s Eyes & Heart!
Life is so beautiful! Even on a cold, cloudy day, it is beautiful. Some people call a day like today ‘dreary’ but I don’t…I can see the beauty in it all around me. It’s like looking at people! Do you just see the outward appearance or do you look for and see the inner person? So many times we are quick to judge someone or something by the outward appearance, but that is not the true person or object!
Take for instance an old, worn, dusty Bible. Once you open it and start to read it, you find all the answers to everything in life you can and will possibly face. Does the outward appearance of that Bible change what is truly on the inside of it? Think about it!
The next time you see someone who is ‘different’ from what the world considers beautiful, perfect, etc. step back and take a look at that person through God’s eyes! In His eyes we are all beautifully made and He is constantly molding, shaping and refining us. He created each and everyone of us and He doesn’t make a mistake! After all…it is not our ‘housing/body/looks’ that is the real us, the real ‘us’ is the spirit inside of that housing. He gave each of us our own will and it is up to us what we do with it!
For me…my will is to make God/Jesus, my Father, my Daddy, my Savior, my everything…my top priority in my life and family. To follow His word! To be obedient! To become more like Him everyday and to let His love and light shine through me, my words and my actions! YES! Life is Beautiful when you have Jesus as your constant companion and friend!
My prayer for everyone of you today is that you see the beauty in everything and everyone around you today, Thru My Daddy’s Eyes!
Love and Blessing Always,
~ Judy ~
Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5&6
In these days we are now in, people are rude, have little or no morals, are disrespectful or even evil. It tells us in the Bible that there will be people like this ~ it’s just hard to actually experience it! We as Christians, Believers, are commanded by God to love one another as He loves us. How does He love us? Well, first He created us and He created us in His image. We are His children and He loves us and wants only good for us. He never leaves us nor forsakes us and He provides our every need. Most importantly He loves us as much as He loves Jesus!
Now you may say, ‘But there are people who are homeless, hungry, etc! What about them?’ Now when God created us, He also gave us our own will and He will not go against our will! We have the will to trust and believe God or to trust and believe ‘man’! We have the will to make Jesus the Lord of our lives for always, no matter what, or to blame God when something bad happens in our lives. Oh, it’s easy to TRUST Him when things are going well, but what about when they aren’t?
I know that God, my Daddy, is always with me no matter what I have gone through or am going through. I know that He has a Plan for my life that is far better than any thing I could ever dream of and I also know that no matter what, He is there to see me through every trial, every tribulation and show me the way out!
Now where does sowing and reaping come in? Well, God’s Word tell us that ‘God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that will he also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, be he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. And let us not grow weary for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.’ Galatians 6: 7-9 God has a ‘due season’ for all of the seeds we plant ~ good seeds as well as bad seeds! These days everyone is saying something about karma! Well, it’s not karma, it’s the Word of God, our Father!
So when someone does you wrong or you hear of all the evil, the lies being told, the corruption, just remember that God, your Daddy, has you in His hands and instead of living in fear, complaining, questioning, simply TRUST Him and pray for those that don’t know Him to have their eyes and hearts opened up to see the light! That, my friend, is walking in the Love of God and sowing good seeds! Those who are sowing bad seeds will reap their harvest!
Be blessed and remember God loves you and so do I! ❤
Love and Blessings,
~ Judy ❤ ~
Our world today has become so materialistic and so judgmental that looking and listening to others has made me stop and think! How do we see others and do we really see the person? In other words do we look at the clothes they wear, how they dress, the kind of car they drive, the house they live in, the neighborhood they live in, how much money they have or do we look to see the person on the inside of the window dressings or lack of?
Two of my mother’s favorite says when I was growing up were…”Pretty is As Pretty Does” and “Beauty is Only Skin Deep”. Well over the years I have learned that those sayings are so very, very true! I was very blessed to have a mother who wasn’t prejudiced or judgmental of a person’s outward appearance. She would feed you and give you whatever you needed no matter how much money you did or didn’t have or what you looked like! She saw the true person on the inside!
The ‘Beauty is Only Skin Deep’ was revealed to me in a lot of different situations, but one that is dearest to my heart is the one that was Mrs. Carter. She was the wife of my husband’s Regional Manager and also a relative of my father-in-law’s employee. We were invited to their house one eventing. Now Mrs. C had had a stroke that left one side of her face disfigured. As I was introduced to her, I looked into her eyes and I saw one of the most beautiful people I had ever seen. As we talked and got acquainted it was like looking into her spirit. Then it came to me ~ ‘Beauty is Only Skin Deep’! I only met her that one time face to face, many, many years ago, but to this day I can still see her beauty!
I have also known quite a few people that were absolutely beautiful on the outside, but when you saw how they treated others, how they lived their lives or how they talked, then you knew that the expression ‘Pretty is As Pretty Does’ was also true ! 🙂
I grew up surrounded by a lot of wealthy, ‘big named’ people and I learned at a very early age not to judge people by what they ‘have’ materially! The money and material possessions don’t make the person! Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately) I learned also at a very early age about snobs and hypocrites! Usually the ones whose wealth came from starting out with nothing and working and building into abundance were the nicest, most sincere, most generous, honest people. The snobs and hypocrites were the ones whose wealth was ‘handed to them’ and they never had to work for anything or the ones who didn’t have much but wanted everyone to think they did! 🙂
Here is an example of someone we knew years ago who was the pharmacist in the small town we lived in Mississippi. He not only had the largest ‘Drug Store’, but also the busiest! He was a very wealthy man! He never flaunted his wealth, he was down to earth and one of the kindest, most generous men in town! Now he had a very nice home but it wasn’t a ‘castle’ to show the world how much money he had, he had several airplanes and he, his wife and his children (grown and/or almost grown) each drove one of the finest, most expensive brand name automobiles made at that time. One day, he drove to the largest city in Mississippi to one of the largest dealers of this brand of automobile to buy a new one for his wife. Now, his attire did not yell ‘I am rich’! He had on jeans, a nice sport shirt and looked like any ordinary, plain fellow walking into the car dealership! He walked in, looked around at the different models and out of the several salesmen standing around not one came to ask if they could help him! Finally after spending a good bit of time looking and waiting for a salesman to help him, he started to leave. He walked up to one of the salesmen and told him that he had come to buy a new car for his wife, but since no one showed any interest he would take his business elsewhere. Then he pulled the CASH out of his back pocket that he had to make his purchase with, showed it to them and left to never return again! Moral: Never Judge Someone By Appearance!
We all judge, jump to conclusions about people we don’t know and too many times don’t look to see the real person on the inside! God made us ALL in His image and He doesn’t make junk! It’s up to us to take the time to ‘look into the eyes of the person’ and to maybe even ‘walk in their shoes’ before we form an opinion of them! And the best of all is to let the Holy Spirit be our guide! When we learn to listen to Him, we are never steered wrong!
Have an abundantly blessed and prosperous day!
Love and Blessings,
~ Judy ~
