Week 20 ~ Have You Noticed?

Have you noticed that when someone has a need for a loved one or themselves, people respond with, ‘sending healing vibes your way’, positive thoughts for you and …..’, ‘our wishes for an answer are with you’, ‘sending you our energy’ and the list goes on and on! Recently on a site I follow of a little girl with cancer who was having tests, several people posted ‘keeping our fingers crossed’! People…it’s not crossing fingers, sending positive vibes or thoughts or wishes that does any thing!!!  IT IS PRAYER!!! There is nothing as or more powerful than PRAYER! Oh, on the little girl’s site I commented “not crossing fingers, Praying!

What has happened to us? Have you ever noticed someone making a comment and using ‘G_d’! What is this? It seems that people have become so afraid of offending someone that they have become little creepy, meek hypocrites! I am not sorry, but I don’t care if I offend you, I am NOT going to offend my Heavenly Father, my Daddy, my GOD!

I am not ashamed of who I am in Christ Jesus! I am not ashamed that I am a Child of God, made in His image and loved unconditionally by Him! He is my Daddy and I am proud to say I AM MY DADDY’S GIRL!

If you don’t know Him and would like to, please contact me and I will introduce you to the One Who will never leave you, Who will love you unconditionally, Who has plans for you that are far greater than any thing you could even begin to imagine and Who’s will is blessings, goodness, divine health, prosperity and long life for you! He will not only walk every step with you, He will carry you when you are too weary to take a step! He is not about ‘religion’, He is about the Truth in God’s Word, not man’s made up theology and traditions! He meets our every need, even before we know we have it! All He asks in return is our love, trust and faith in Him and to develop a close personal relationship with Him and not be ashamed!

Oh, there will be trials and tribulations, but you know what?  He is always there, protecting, guiding, leading us and bringing us through to the other side full of blessings flowing abundantly! Through trials and tribulations we learn to trust Him and the rewards are beyond comprehension! You truly learn the meaning of ‘peace that passes all understanding’! I love my Daddy! I have faith in my Daddy and I trust my Daddy! My life is full, my life is rich, my life is full to overflowing with daily blessings!

We are a very happy, fulfilled, full of joy, peace and love family and we would love to welcome anyone who wants to join us, into our family for all eternity!

Have a truly blessed day!

Week 16 1/2 ~ What is a Christian?

What is a Christian? Well, you can find all different definitions for what a Christian is, but what truly is a Christian?

First, if you have to go around telling people that you are a Christian, then you are not living like a Christian! A Christian is someone who loves Jesus with all their heart, soul, spirit and mind! Someone who wants to live their life being as much like Jesus as is humanly possible! Someone who can love people in spite of themselves; pray for them; forgive them and show them the way to an eternal life with Jesus. Oh, they’re not perfect and they know that, but they strive to be obedient to the Word of God and live accordingly! They are not ashamed of who they are in Christ Jesus. They are bold and stand up for God and His ways. And most importantly they walk in humility and love ~ not judging, not condemning but sharing!

A Christian is a servant, who loves to serve and help others without expecting anything in return! They are not seeking ‘recognition’, ‘praise’ or ‘glory’ for what they do. All the Glory belongs to God! They will stay in the background, praying for you, loving you and serving you without you having any knowledge of it. A Christian doesn’t have to tell anyone they are a Christian; it shows in the way they live their lives; the way they treat others; their words and what they stand for ~ in  other words the fruit of their lives! A Christian doesn’t preach at you, they share what they have found through their faith and trust in God and help you to find it too! There is no jealousy or envy, but love and joy in your success to living a prosperous life in The Lord.

This is what a Christian really is! They are full of joy, a peace that passes all understanding, compassion, wisdom/discernment to know the difference between truth and deceit and a love for life and others that is sincere and unfailing! A personal, intimate relationship with The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. There is no worry or fear in a Christian. They know that God and God alone is their source and that He never leaves them or forsakes them! And the greatest thing of all is that they love you and want you to join their family and spend eternity with them in Heaven sitting at the Father’s feet! What a glorious day that will be!

Be blessed today and everyday abundantly by God!

Week 16 ~ Why Is It So Hard?

Why is it so easy to say what we think and feel to people about our government, world situations, life in general, but when it comes to telling those close to us how we feel about them it’s practically impossible? Maybe we came from a family who didn’t know how to show their feelings or express how they felt. Maybe we are afraid of looking foolish or being hurt or humiliated!

We need to take some lessons from children! They will look at you and unexpectedly say, “I love you”, “You are pretty” or “You’re my friend”! The Word of God says ‘out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks’ Matthew 12:34, so why is it so hard to say, “I love you”; “I need you”; “You mean every thing to me”; “You are my best friend” or “You are Pretty” or “You are Handsome”?

Words are so important! Words set things into motion! They direct our lives. They can be sweet, gentle, happy, encouraging or they can be cruel, hateful, hurtful, belittling! Words spoken can be comforting and endearing years and years after spoken into our lives or they can still bring feelings of hurt! Words can never be taken back and they are never forgotten.

Time is passing by faster and faster, so don’t wait until it is too late! Start today to let your feelings toward loved ones show and out of the abundance of your heart let your mouth speak!

Have an Abundantly Blessed Life!

Week 15 ~ Prayers Are Answered!

Yesterday was a very busy day! Spring time in Texas brings beautiful new growth with lush, vibrant colors and new beginnings with new life! It also brings thunder storms and tornadoes!

My daughter called me and asked if I had seen the weather report (she knows I don’t have the TV on during the day)! There were some nasty cells approaching us. I turned on the TV and as we watched we started praying! My husband, her dad, was at Clark Gardens, west of Ft. Worth. To make a long story short…we each were watching a different station report, were praying and speaking to the funnel clouds developing and touching the ground commanding them back into the clouds and to dissipate! We commissioned angels over the people in their homes, cars traveling in the path of the storm, work places and pets not knowing what was happening! We covered our loved ones, family and friends, texted her brother who lives north of us and she was texting friends who were in places where they had no TV to see what was headed their way! We watched as the storm passed us by and continued praying and commanding! It was so awesome to see it retreat into the clouds and hear the weather man say, ‘well it might be reforming’! NOT! All this time I was tracking DH on my cell phone to see him headed back home! I tried to call him several times to get him to delay his trip home because he was heading into the storm, but he couldn’t hear his phone ringing with the rain and the radio! It was a very long day!

The Praise Report is, that though there were houses, property and ‘things’ destroyed, there were no lives lost and no fatal injuries!  There were interviews of people who were in bathtubs and closets praying, and when the storm was over, the only part of their home not devastated was where they had been! One woman was in her closet and afterwards she came out to find every part of her home flattened except her closet and she didn’t even have one scratch on her! One babysitting grandmother had 2 eighteen month old babies and a 3 year old in the bathtub with her and as the tornado tried to pull her grandson out of her arms she held onto his legs and saved all 3 babes and herself! Now tell me God doesn’t answer prayers!!!

Have an abundantly blessed day!

Week 10 ~ A Very Close, Personal Friendship

As God Sees, So Are We To See

“…If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.” Matthew 17:20 “For with God nothing shall be impossible.” Luke 1:37
Notice that God speaks of us the same way that He speaks about Himself: nothing shall be impossible. The “faith potential” for us is the same as it is for God. Meditate on these Scriptures and see how the Holy Spirit speaks to you about your situations in life.
Scripture reading: Hebrews 11:6 (Pastor Nick’s Daily Dose)

Can I Really Know God?

“And this is life eternal, that they might know Thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, Whom Thou hast sent.” John 17:3

The Bible teaches us in both testaments that God wants to be known by His children. How is it that so many of us as God’s people have missed that. We have been told and said things like, “You never know what God’s gonna do.” And really my brothers and sisters, that is just not the truth. In the above Scripture, Jesus gives us the Father’s definition of eternal life: that we might know Him and Jesus Whom He sent. We can know God in the same way that we can know any one else who is alive. The same way in which we would get to know another person is the same way that we go about getting to know Almighty God.
Scripture reading: Philippians 3:10; Hosea 6:3; Hebrews 8:10-11 (Pastor Nick’s Daily Dose)

Stop, think and take in these 2 scriptures! Sometimes we depend too much on God to do the impossible FOR us! That is not what the Word of God says! It is saying that with faith WE can do the impossible WITH Him! This is why we need to get to know Him personally, first name basis, best friend relationship! Jesus/God/Holy Spirit dwells IN us…24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year! He’s not ‘way off’ somewhere…He knows every thing we think, every thing we do, every thing we say! He has plans for us and none of them include defeat!

We all need our regular ‘prayer time’ ~ a certain time set aside to pray to our Father, but what we really need to do is to talk to Him all day long! No formal prayers, but just plain, everyday talk as you do with a very close friend! You don’t even have to pick up a phone or send an email or text…just open your mouth! This is what He wants from us! He loves us enough to have sacrificed His life for us!

Today, start talking to Him and listening to what He tells you! Why, He even speaks Texan! When you find this relationship with your Daddy, you will walk in the ‘peace that passes all understanding’ and you will find that ‘when you speak to the mountain it will move’ and ‘that nothing is impossible’!

Have an abundantly blessed day talking to Your Best Friend ~ Jesus!

Love and Blessings,

Week 8 ~ Never Use ‘Called’ As An Excuse!

People are ‘Called’ by God everyday to go someplace, to do something or to fill a need for someone! Some are ‘Called’ to Pastor a church, some are ‘Called’ to a distant land to serve and minister and some are even ‘Called’ from one church to another! When God ‘calls’ you to move on something, you willingly do it! For instance, if you are a member of one church and God ‘calls’ you to another church and you know that it is God, then you move, but you don’t just pack your bags and go! You do things the way God wants you to! You go to the Pastor and tell him/her that God has called you somewhere else. The Pastor will give his/her blessing and your move will be blessed.

God gets the blame for a lot of things that people just don’t have the decency to stand up and admit! Don’t use God as an excuse! “God told me to do such and such”, “God called us to do this or that” and the list goes on and on! When He actually ‘calls’ us to something, He blesses us in the ‘calling’.  One day we will all stand in front of Him and I don’t be one of those people that He asks, “What about the time you said that I called you to do such and such or the time I called you to change churches?”

I know when God calls me to something and I do it without announcing it to the world! He is my Daddy and it is my desire to serve Him and to be more like Him. Please don’t put the blame on God or use Him as an excuse! He already has His hand full without our adding to it! 🙂

Be a blessing to your Daddy as well as to everyone else! Share His love everywhere you go! 🙂

Love and Blessings,

~ Judy ~

Wk 4 ~ The Simplicity of God’s Word

One of my very favorite scriptures is Psalm 91! Here it is in The Message:

1 You who sit down in the High God’s presence, spend the night in Shaddai’s shadow,2 Say this: “God, you’re my refuge. I trust in you and I’m safe!”3 That’s right-he rescues you from hidden traps, shields you from deadly hazards.4 His huge outstretched arms protect you-under them you’re perfectly safe; his arms fend off all harm.5 Fear nothing-not wild wolves in the night, not flying arrows in the day,6 Not disease that prowls through the darkness, not disaster that erupts at high noon.7 Even though others succumb all around, drop like flies right and left, no harm will even graze you.8 You’ll stand untouched, watch it all from a distance, watch the wicked turn into corpses.9 Yes, because God’s your refuge, the High God your very own home,10 Evil can’t get close to you, harm can’t get through the door.11 He ordered his angels to guard you wherever you go.12 If you stumble, they’ll catch you; their job is to keep you from falling.13 You’ll walk unharmed among lions and snakes, and kick young lions and serpents from the path.
14 “If you’ll hold on to me for dear life,” says God, “I’ll get you out of any trouble. I’ll give you the best of care if you’ll only get to know and trust me.15 Call me and I’ll answer, be at your side in bad times; I’ll rescue you, then throw you a party.16 I’ll give you a long life, give you a long drink of salvation!”

Oh, how I love the plainness and simplicity of this translation! Have a wonderful day filled with God’s blessings overflowing daily in your life!
