No Regrets!

Are you a “I should have”, “I wish I had” or “I could have” type of person? I had a very dear uncle whose conversations were always, “Well, I should have” or “Well, I could have” or “I sure wish I had”! Instead of seeing what he had done it was always what he should, could or wish he had done! And he actually had accomplished a lot in his life, but he didn’t see it! 😦

With the days, weeks, months and years seeming to be quickly flying by it made me think! (There I go again…thinking! :{ ) We all get so ‘busy’ doing ‘busy’ things, do we ever stop and take notice of the things that are really important? When is the last time you told someone close to you that you love them? When was the last time you called that friend or relative you were thinking of just to say ‘hello’? These are the things that are most important and that we are mostly likely to regret when it is too late! Oh, we say, “Oh, they know I love them or how important they are to me!” How do they know if you don’t take the time to tell them??? I was privileged to be with my mother for months while she was slowly preparing to move to her mansion in Heaven! During that time we got to talk, share and remember together. I got to tell her how much I loved her and was grateful and thankful that she was my mother because it was her raising me the way she did that made me the person I am today! We also got to talk about Heaven, how wonderful, beautiful and awesome it is! She actually asked me if I would go with her and I told her my bags were packed for whenever Jesus summons me! I also told her that our love would live forever and I would ask Jesus to give her a hug for me when I was missing her! You see, I know He does and she has gotten a lot of Jesus hugs! 🙂

Take the time today to tell someone, “I love you” or “I just want to thank you for being in my life”. Share a hug, a smile, a memory, a kind word. Call someone and if they don’t answer, leave an ‘I love you or Thank you for being you’ message!

When my mother drew her last breath here on earth, I cried not because I had any regrets but because I knew that she was with Jesus…young, healthy, happy, running through fields of green chasing butterflies! Instead of being a ‘I should have, could have, wish I had’ person, be a ‘I am so thankful I did’ person! If you are reading this…I love you and I am so thankful to have you in my life and I truly appreciate your stopping by to see what I see Thru My Daddy’s Eyes!

Love and Blessings

Are You Satisfied With You?

There is so much today about how we should look, what size we should be, etc.  Now granted the world has become obese! Too many ‘fast food’ places; too many ‘super sized’ portions; too many electronic gadgets, etc.

It’s funny, but it’s not…we don’t get the exercise that we should with all the electronic devices that we ‘just have to have‘ and we have become obsessed with food…unhealthy, unnutritious, plaque building, artery blocking foods! Then we are told we all need to look like the anorexia looking stars and models!  What is the matter with us, People?  Have we become robots unable to think for ourselves or are we just brainwashed?

When I was a kid, and yes, that was a number of years ago, we had TV but weren’t allowed to watch it all day and night! We went outside and played! Active play!!! Rode our bicycles,  jumped rope, played chase, kick ball, etc! Oh, and we also used our imaginations! In other words our brains got exercise along with our bodies!

We had 3 meals a day…Breakfast, Lunch and Supper! The only snack we got was when we got home from school and it was usually fruit of some kind! Our meals were home prepared! Breakfast was cereal of some kind except on the weekends when mother would cook bacon, eggs, toast, etc.  Lunch was usually something light…a sandwich of some kind with fruit and very seldom chips! Supper was the main meal with meat, potatoes, salad and vegetables. We weren’t asked what we wanted to eat because we ate what mother had prepared! Desserts were saved for special occasions! Sundays were the day that the main meal was at noontime! Then something light in the evening for supper! Oh, and there were no ‘super sized’ portions either! A serving size was a serving spoon full of each thing and then you could have seconds! Plus there was no “I don’ like that“…not at my house! Mother saw to it that you had to take one bite of every and any thing she prepared!

All this to say, if we are not satisfied with who we are, then we need to take responsibility and change into who WE want to be! We don’t need diet plans that prepare and portion our food for us, trainers, pills or expensive equipment! We need to be in charge of who we are and take control over our lives. Women are made to have curves rather than having bones showing! We are meant to be active and able to walk, play and run (if you want to)! Families once played together! And families always ate together!!!

I don’t know about you, but I am taking my life back and gaining control of it! I need to lose weight, but most importantly I want to lose weight! Food, advertisements and temptations are not in control of me any longer! I want to be around for a looong time yet, to see my Granddarlings grown with families of their own and those Great Granddarlings grown with families of their own.

When we learn to take control of: what, when and how we eat, our exercise, whether walking, running or working out, we will be satisfied with ourselves. Don’t compare ourselves to others…God made each of us unique! With His guidance and help we can do any and all things! You see, His promise is long life, but we have to do our part too! Are you with me? 🙂

Love and Blessings,

How Old Are You?

“How old are you?” Do you ever get that question? What does age mean to you? Our society is consumed with age and their idea of age! There are more plastic surgeries in these times than ever! Have you ever considered why they call it ‘plastic’ surgery? 🙂

What is ‘age’ anyway? When you reach a certain age, people look at you differently! That certain age is ‘retirement age’, ‘senior citizen age’, etc. Have you ever wondered what the term elderly refers too? You may see on a sign on the highway or on the news where an elderly person is missing! What does this mean, what do they consider elderly?  Now here is a definition of old age:

“Old age (also referred to as one’s eld) consists of ages nearing or surpassing the average life span of human beings, and thus the end of the human life cycle. Euphemisms and terms for old people include seniors (American usage), senior citizens (British and American usage) and the elderly. Old people have limited regenerative abilities and are more prone to disease, syndromes, and sickness than other adults. The boundary between middle age and old age cannot be defined exactly because it does not have the same meaning in all societies. People can be considered old because of certain changes in their activities or social roles. Examples: people may be considered old when they become grandparents, or when they begin to do less or different work—retirement.”  Now isn’t this interesting? 🙂

Okay, I am a MiMi (grandmother) of 5 wonderful Granddarlings! I no longer have to work in ‘Corporate America’, Thank God, and I love and enjoy life to it’s fullest!  I have not been to a doctor in 20+ years; I take no medicine…not even aspirin..get no ‘flu vaccinations, and don’t get sick! I walk and live in DIVINE HEALTH!

I learned a long time ago that Jesus took on Himself all of my sicknesses, diseases, infirmities and sins when He went to the cross! I also learned that stress and worry are not from God but from satan! Worry and stress, which is brought about by worry, can and do bring on all kinds of sickness and disease! Jesus took on my sickness so why would I want to take it back? I once was a worrier…about everything including being ‘too happy’! Then I learned that God is my Source for every need, desire and want…not man and certainly not me! I learned to TRUST Him with everything in my life and I have found total peace, happiness, joy and fulfillment! I love life and living it 100%!

Now, back to ‘age’!  We are a spirit that lives in a housing called a body! Your spirit (the real you) does not age…it matures, not ages! Your body, the housing, is what ages, wrinkles, shrivels  and dries up. If you feed your body with nutritious foods, keep it hydrated with plenty of  water and keep it strong and agile with plenty of movement, you will slow down the ‘aging’ process of your body!  Have you ever felt like you were no older than 20 or 21, only to look in the mirror and be shocked? 🙂 Well, this is because the real you, your spirit is young…mature (hopefully) but young! Ever heard the saying, ‘you’re only as old as you feel’? Well, that is true! Fortunately, I come from a family of young feeling, acting, living people! I remember my Nana at the age of 90 looking in the mirror and saying, ‘good gosh!’ When I asked her what was wrong she said ‘look at all those wrinkles’!  She was 90 years young and had less wrinkles than most people at 70! 🙂 If you listen to the ‘world’ it will make you ‘old’! Listen to your spirit, the real you, enjoy life…every minute of it…and most importantly get to know God intimately and learn to TRUST Him with every thing in your life! He knows your needs before you do and He loves you unconditionally!  Happy long healthy life to all of you! ♡

God’s Little Bit of Heaven in Texas – Part III

Well, it is ‘officially’ Spring! Spring has been springing at Clark Gardens for almost a month! It is so much fun each week to see the new blooms and blossoms! One surprise after another! Bluebonnets, Peach Blossoms, Apple Blossoms, Pear Blossoms, Plum Blossoms, the first Iris and Azalea! And then of course, Tulips, Pansies and Daffodils! It is like watching the earth waking up from a winter’s sleep!

Bluebonnet-Texas State Flower

Ornamental Apple Blossoms

Pear Blossoms

Not only is the plant life waking up, but the Clark Garden’s critters are feeling the Spring springing too!

This is definitely one of my favorite times of year! After laying dormant for several months things start to slowly come back to life! Flowers pushing through the earth, birds building nests for their young, leaves and blossoms spring forth on trees! And, yes, you can also see a difference in God’s 2 legged creatures aka humans! 🙂 Spring does that! It brings out life and fresh ideas, dreams and hopes for all of us! Now scientist would explain it as something to do with the moon, tides and other ‘explainable’ things! NO! It has all to do with God! He set everything up way before scientist were even thought of! 🙂 And when He did set everything up, He knew exactly what He was doing and why! We are not meant to have everything explained to us…we are meant to love, have faith and TRUST our Heavenly Father, or as I call Him, our Daddy! The animals don’t have to have everything figured out…they simply follow the instincts that God placed in them! We all could take lessons from the animals our Daddy created!

We humans make things so complicated in our lives, starting with The Word of God! When we read the Bible, instead of asking first to have understanding, we analyze it, give our interpretations (called theories) and then argue over whose theory or denomination is correct! God created a perfect world with perfect weather, perfect animals…everything perfect! Then He created man because He wanted to have someone to fellowship, walk and talk with! He gave this man dominion over all the creatures He had created. Then man wasn’t satisfied to have God to fellowship with, so God created woman for man as a companion! So here they are in a perfect world with only ONE stipulation! They could do any thing…ANY thing but this one thing, so what do they do…they disobey God’s one stipulation! Now, think about this…God created the entire world with every living creature perfect, every detail perfect in every way! Then He creates one man and one woman, folks that is 2 people…only two! They are tempted by satan (oh, I don’t capitalize his name because I refuse to honor him in any way!) and are not satisfied with the perfect world they were given dominion over, so they disobey God! Now He could have wiped them out and started all over, but our God is a loving, patient, merciful, good God and He didn’t!  If you think about this in this manner maybe it will help you to see how my your Daddy loves you! How no matter what you do, all you have to do is turn to Him, call upon Him, ask His forgiveness and except Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Oh, yes, He sent His only Son into this world to share His love with everyone and to take on our sins, diseases, poverty, worries…everything that doesn’t come from God…upon His perfect body, die on the cross for us, descend into the pit of Hell and be Resurrected to sit in Heaven at the Father’s right hand to intercede for us! Do we really realize how blessed we are? Why, after all this, is it so hard to have faith in our Daddy and to trust Him in every situation? Do we not realize that after all He has done for us, there is nothing He will not do for us?

I don’t know about you, but I love my Daddy, I love Jesus and the Holy Spirit, and all I want to do is walk with Him, talk with Him, listen to Him and be an obedient child! I’m not perfect, but I know that my Daddy knows that and He will correct me, but He will do it in love! I have faith in Him and His Word and I put ALL of my TRUST in Him because He created me, He loves me and He will never leave me or turn His back on me! I am a child of the Most High God, my Father, my Daddy and a continuous work of His polishing, refining and shaping into what He wants me to be! I am blessed beyond measure and you can be too! You see, God created you, He loves you and He will never leave you or turn His back on you! Welcome to the family! 🙂

Love and Blessings,

God Has a Sense of Humor!

Having the NFL choose ARLINGTON, Texas for the 45th Superbowl was quite an experience! What most people don’t realize is that the NFL comes in and actually takes over! They decided which streets will be closed, hotel prices, which vendors in which area, etc, etc, etc! Everything is about $$$money$$$!  It is actually more about greed than about the sport of football! People don’t realize that if their city has never been chosen to hold the Super Bowl!

Now the reason I have said that is to point out that it is not the city, the city officials, the citizens or the local businesses that raise the prices to astronomical amounts! Yet, it is the city, the state, the citizens, the state and city governments that get blamed for everything including the weather!!!  Have you ever just sat back and watched and listened to people and how utterly ridiculous they can be? If you do and don’t let them upset you, you will start laughing! People can be so ignorant, unappreciative, rude and self centered!

All of this made me think of God and what He goes through! Ever since Adam and Eve disobeyed Him, He has had to listen to His children whine, complain, curse; be ignorant, rude, unappreciative, never satisfied and self centered! I am so thankful that He made the promise to Noah to never flood the entire earth again and destroy everyone.  If He hadn’t made that promise the earth would be continually under water!!! We would all have to have fins, if we survived!

He also definitely has a sense of humor, He has to, to stay balanced! I can just imagine Him sitting on His throne with Jesus next to Him listening to some of the things we  were hearing recently… For instance, the fellow from California who complained that all the ‘fast food’ places around Arlington and the stadium were all fried food places and he had eaten practically nothing but calamari since he had been here! First of all, most of all ‘fast food’ places have other things than just fried foods and I don’t know of any of them that have calamari, unless it is seafood restaurant! Now if he had eaten nothing but fried food, that was his fault because he didn’t have enough sense to order anything else! 🙂 Then there are the ones who were complaining about the highly unusual Arctic Blast we had! Who do you think is in control of the weather???  I could just see my Daddy sitting on His throne laughing at the stupidity going on! Oh, the topper though were the ones who said they would never come back to Texas! You talk about laughing!!! I was in hysterics along with other Texans! That is great…we don’t want them to decide they want to come back and live here! We are already too crowded! We want our land back so our cattle and horses have room to graze and roam!

So not only does God have a sense of humor, He also has mercy and He is able to share His sense of humor with us! He is such a great Daddy and still loves all of His children…even the ones who complain, whine, curse and are rude, ignorant, unappreciative and self centered! Why, He even sends people across their paths to teach them of His love, mercy and forgiveness through not only words, but most importantly on how they live their lives! I love my Daddy and am so blessed to be in His family with my brothers and sisters in Christ! Remember the Word of God says, “A cheerful disposition is good for your health, gloom and doom leave you bone tired.” That is Proverbs 17:22 in the Message translation.  Have a blessed day full of laughter!

Love and Blessings,

Judy ♡

The Difference a Translation Makes!

Here are 2 different translations of the same scripture! We get used to reading our ‘favorite’ translation and it becomes a habit and we don’t even take the time to stop and meditate on what God is saying to us in that scripture! Get in the habit of using different translations and see the difference it makes in what God is saying to you!

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Romans 12:1&2 NKJ

So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you. Take your everyday, ordinary life – sleeping, eating, going to work, and walking around life – and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for Him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what He wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you. Romans 12:1&2 The Message Bible

Have You Ever Wandered Why?

Have you ever wondered why and how one woman is responsible for taking God and prayer out of our school systems? How could one, single ungodly woman do that? When did our officials…schools, state governments and federal governments become so spineless and so ‘afraid of offending someone’ who not only doesn’t believe in God, but certainly doesn’t know Him? Excuse me…I AM A BORN IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, RAISED IN CHURCH BELIEVING, KNOWING, LOVING, TRUSTING AND HAVING FAITH IN GOD CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA! I AM OFFENDED!!!  My ancestors fought for this country so that we could be free to worship, speak and live in the greatest nation in the world! I am tired and disgusted with people ‘not wanting to offend’ illegals, Muslims, atheists and anyone else who doesn’t know what and who this country was founded on!

I don’t understand how any non Christian suddenly has rights to try to take God out of the business, schools and homes of American Christians! When are we going to take our country, government, businesses and schools back? It has been decades that we have sat back and watched satan steal from us! Look at our schools today where God is not welcome. Can’t we see what has happened? I am one person, but I will stand and stand strong for my God, how about you?

I am a born again, spirit filled, God loving, God believing, God trusting Child of God and I don’t care (and to quote Kenneth Copeland, I can’t tell you how much I DON’T care) whether you are offended or not! I don’t intentionally go around trying to offend anyone, but I certainly am not going to walk on egg shells when it comes to my faith, relationship or love for my Daddy…my God! Now I will be happy to share Him with you and introduce you to Him! He is the greatest, most loving, most generous Daddy of them all! There is nothing He won’t do for His children and you, whether you know it or not are one of them! 🙂

if you don’t know Him personally but would like to, you are welcome to contact me and I will show you how to reach Him!  It’s really very easy and He is always available! Thanks for letting me sound off! You see, I am not ashamed of who my Daddy is or who I am either, but I do get disgusted with people who are! Hey, that’s my right! Hehehe!

Have a great ‘first week’ of 2011! Remember, Jesus loves you and so do I! ♡

Love and Blessings,

Decisions of the New Year!

No, I don’t make New Year’s Resolutions! But I am making some decisions for the new year of 2011!  After all if there was so much speculation, instilling of fear, rumors of great, not so good happenings, with the approaching of the year 2000, the Millennium, then I can make decisions for my life in the year 2011!

My decisions concern my family; my relationship with my Daddy; my friends; my passion for photography and my life in general!  We all recognize that time is passing very quickly and it has nothing to do with our getting older, it has to do with end times! Now don’t panic like so many people do that don’t know the Word of God and don’t really have a personal relationship with Him! This is an exciting time! A glorious time! Just think…we were created to live in this time and to experience it! Oh, there was a time several years ago when I was leery of the end times and didn’t want it to happen just yet! Why, you ask? Because I didn’t have that close, personal relationship with my Daddy and I was really dreading reading and studying Revelations! I also didn’t want to be without my family and watch them grow up! Well, you know what…we are all going to have Eternity together without sickness, pain, financial concerns, material needs, taxes and even dust! Hallelujah!

In the year 2011 I am going to draw even closer to my Daddy, my family and my friends. I am going to be more attentive to God’s telling and leading through the Holy Spirit and more obedient to follow that leading and instruction! He gave me the gift of photography and my business/ministry, The Father’s Creations, so this year through the leading and prompting of the Holy Spirit I am excited to see what is ahead! I am going to learn to be obedient even when it is hard, challenging and unsettling to do so, because I KNOW that whatever He tells me to do, in the long run are abundant blessings!

I am also going to keep up with my blogging more…at least once a month if not more! Sometimes it may not be much, but I do want to be consistent, so I may even make it once a week! 🙂   Oh, I have so much to accomplish in this year and I know that I can do it all with the help of my Daddy, my God!

You are invited to take this journey with me if you would like to!  You are welcome to follow my progress, celebrate with me my accomplishments and share my picking myself up if I stumble! I will share it all with you!  I may even ask for your opinions some times! So…here we go…this is the first Blog of 2011! We are on our way! 🙂

This scripture says it all! When we follow these words and make them an every day action in our lives we not only will succeed, but also live with peace, love, joy, all of our needs met and a life fulfilled beyond measure!

Happy New Year to all of my family and friends every where! My hope (earnest expectation) for each of you is a year that is daily filled with love, laughter, Sonshine, peace, health and God’s blessings flowing abundantly in your lives! Don’t ever take your Daddy and His promises, His blessings or His Word for granted! He is the Alpha and Omega…the Beginning and the End! Hallelujah! He is my EVERYTHING and I AM NOT ASHAMED TO SHARE HIM, HIS LOVE AND HIS WORD WITH EVERYONE I COME IN CONTACT WITH! Love and Blessings to all of you! ♡

Thanksgiving Day is a harvest festival celebrated primarily in the United States and Canada. Thanksgiving was a holiday to express thankfulness, gratitude, and appreciation to God, family and friends for which all have been blessed of material possessions and relationships. Traditionally, it has been a time to give thanks for a bountiful harvest. This holiday has since moved away from its religious roots.[1]
In the United States, Thanksgiving Day falls on the fourth Thursday of November. In Canada it is celebrated on the second Monday in October.

This is the definition of Thanksgiving according to Wikipedia.  What is your definition of Thanksgiving, what does it mean to you? Is it a day to get together with family and friends for a big Thanksgiving dinner? Is it the day Macy’s Parade is on TV preparing for Christmas? Just what is it?

Well, once it was getting together with family and friends to share the bountiful feast that was prepared and put together by several of us! It was fun to invite friends that had no family or were a long way from ‘home’! Over the years my Nana and my mother left us for a better place where there is always celebration and thanksgiving going on and our children grew up and have families of their own and spouses’ families to celebrate with.  So what is Thanksgiving to me?  Well, I am about to tell you!

To me it is cooking a turkey for me  and a roast for Paul. I will make my cornbread dressing and have mashed potatoes, gravy, peas, corn, ‘green stuff’ and maybe some sweet potatoes! But that is not really what Thanksgiving is!  I don’t celebrate Thanksgiving one day out of the year…I celebrate it every day of the year! Thanksgiving was originally a holiday to give thanks to our Heavenly Father, God, our Daddy for what He had blessed everyone with in their crops, their home, their family, their friends.  It was a time to give thanks for a bountiful harvest! Well, I give thanks to Him every day for my daily blessings and harvest!

Too many times people get so busy with their ‘busy’ lives that they forget who is providing their home, their income, their food, their necessities! No, it is not their job or their employer! It is not some corporation or company! It is their DADDY! He is our provider…our Source! He is patient; He is generous; He is merciful: He is definitely loving…unconditionally; He is always there waiting for you to say, ‘thank you, Daddy!”  So this 4th Thursday of November, the holiday called Thanksgiving Day when you are celebrating, be sure to thank Your Daddy, but from that day forward make sure that you make EVERY DAY Thanksgiving Day! He loves you so much and His blessings are more than you can ever imagine! He wants to bless you abundantly to overflowing not just once a year but every day!

Love and Blessings and…
