One of the most beautiful places in Texas showing off it’s Fall colors!

The Pumpkin Story!

Every year I enjoy this story explaining the pumpkins carved with a smile! I am definitely not a ‘fan’ of Halloween or witches or such! I hope you enjoy this story!

“A woman was asked by a coworker,
‘What is it like to be a Christian?’

The coworker replied, ‘It is like being a pumpkin.
God picks you from the patch, brings you in,
and washes all the dirt off of you.
Then He cuts off the top and scoops out all the yucky stuff.
He removes the seeds of doubt, hate, and greed.
Then He carves you a new smiling face and
puts His light inside of you to shine for all the world to see.”

Fall Is In The Air!

I am so happy…Fall is in the Air! There are more and more signs every day! Hallelujah! I am  going to share some of those signs with you that I captured at Clark Gardens last Tuesday! Now these ‘children’ are called Scarecrows, but these guys are definitely not scare anything! They are cute, friendly and happy go lucky! Enjoy… I did! 🙂

Have a Blessed Fall Day! 🙂

Love and Blessings,

Oh, there is nothing like a ‘refreshing day! After 67 days of temperatures in the 100 + range, and usually 105 and above, it was so refreshing to wake up to temperatures in the mid 60’s; doors and windows open and the wonderful fragrance of ‘fresh air‘ welcoming me!

Even my 3 little ‘princesses’, Dolly, Rosie and Sissi, who are always playful and energetic, are full of the wonderful Fall Weather!  During the unusually high, hot temperatures, they were still playful; full of energy and mischievousness, but they had to take several siestas during the day to recoup their energy! Today, the are thoroughly enjoying the crispness in the air, hardly slowing down at all!

I always love this time of year, but I have a new appreciation of it this year! There is a renewed energy, joy, peacefulness and beauty in it! Even with our drought and our normally, green, lush front yard looking pathetically dry and thirsty, there is a beauty in this day and the feeling of hope! Welcome Fall, so glad to have you here! 🙂
