Which Would You Rather Have?

During this time of high costs, people out of work and a government continually talking about raising taxes, it got me to thinking! (Novel idea, isn’t it???) If you were given a choice by God of having the most money of anyone in the earth or simply having a life filled with love, which would you choose? Well, you might say the ‘most money‘ because of all the good you could do with it. You could bless others by providing them homes, cars, educations, etc. You could give to organizations to find cures for diseases, feed millions of starving people and the list is endless! You would never have to worry about any material thing again as long as you lived! Sound good?

Now, I am not ‘monetarily’ wealthy and can’t and don’t go out and buy just anything I want to! I watch how and what I spend my money on! But, you know what??? I am an extremely wealthy woman and I am one of the happiest persons you will ever meet! Do you know why? Because…1. I know who my Source is! 2. I sow my seed into fertile ground. 3. I have the unconditional love of my Daddy 4. I am blessed beyond measure with the love of Jesus in me 5. I love to share that love with everyone 6. I love to bless others with a smile, being there for them, giving them my time as a ‘mom’, ‘MiMi’ or friend  and  7. I reap my harvest daily with blessings from my Daddy for being His faithful, obedient daughter!

I have a wonderful husband of 50 years, 2 wonderful children who have given me 2 wonderful ‘children in love’ and 5 awesome God loving Granddarlings! There is not enough money ever printed or to be printed to buy the richness I have in LOVE! God’s love for me, my love for God, love of and for my family, friends and my furbabies! My every need, spiritually, materially, emotionally, mentally is met by my Heavenly Father! He also provides for my wants, dreams and desires when He knows they are right for me! So in answer to my question…I CHOOSE LOVE!

Have an abundantly blessed day!

Love and Blessings,

This is Emerald Lake at Clark Gardens. I call it “God’s Little Bit of Heaven in Texas” for a reason! It is one of the most beautiful spots on earth year round. It was built and is cared for with love. It is peaceful, tranquil and special! Even when there are a thousand people there, you can still find peace and tranquility! 🙂

For a Special Couple

This is to a Special Couple ~ the parents of our Daughter In Love and also our dear friends. Yesterday was their 50th Anniversary and that is Special!  We know…we celebrated ours on Valentine’s Day! Happy 50th and here is to 50 more! ♡

When I see the glorious illumination of the rising morning sun on God’s Masterpiece, Nature, I think of His glory that illuminates all of us when we walk with Him and obey His Word! Glory! Hallelujah!

The Pumpkin Story!

Every year I enjoy this story explaining the pumpkins carved with a smile! I am definitely not a ‘fan’ of Halloween or witches or such! I hope you enjoy this story!

“A woman was asked by a coworker,
‘What is it like to be a Christian?’

The coworker replied, ‘It is like being a pumpkin.
God picks you from the patch, brings you in,
and washes all the dirt off of you.
Then He cuts off the top and scoops out all the yucky stuff.
He removes the seeds of doubt, hate, and greed.
Then He carves you a new smiling face and
puts His light inside of you to shine for all the world to see.”
