There is a Difference!

I have been optimistic nearly all of my life, but there was a time when I was also a worrier! Yes, I have always looked at the glass 1/2 full rather than 1/2 empty and never have liked pessimistic behavior around me. You can be optimistic and have faith, but still not believe that your every need is met and that no matter what goes on in the world around you, you can have a peace that truly passes all understanding and be happy! This is the difference in Optimism and having a personal relationship with God and knowing who you are in Christ Jesus and who Christ Jesus is in you!
Some may think you are not dealing with reality when truthfully that is exactly what your are dealing with and how you are living your life! You see when we make Jesus our Lord and Savior then we KNOW who our source is, who our provider is, that He never will leave us nor forsake us, that He meets our every need ~ even before we know what it is and that we have an eternal home with Him! Eternal Home! That is forever and ever and ever!
To know who you are in Christ Jesus and who He is in you, you have to read, study, feed upon and absorb His book ~ The Bible! It is all there in black and white and red! It’s simple and oh, so rewarding! Find a good church with a shepherd who not only teaches his flock, but also feeds them meat!
Once I was optimistic! Now I know who I am in Christ Jesus and who He is in me! I walk in that wonderful peace of God’s that passes all understanding. I have no fear or worry of what lies ahead according to the ‘world’ because I may be in this world, but I am not of this world! I know who my Source is and I know that my Daddy is always there to take care of and protect me! You see…I am my Daddy’s Girl and proud of it!
Have an abundantly blessed day!
Love and Blessings,
~Judy~
Just want to share some of the awesomeness of God I see all around me!
The Man Who Made Me His Valentine
Posted: January 22, 2013 Filed under: Uncategorized | Tags: Father, Friend, Husband, My Valentine, Paul, PawPaw 2 Comments »52 years ago this Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2013, Paul Valentine made me his Valentine! My mother always said that he found his million dollar baby in a five & ten cent store! For those of you too young to remember, that once was a popular song. Paul was in training at a McCrory,McLellan store in Ft. Worth and I was working there part-time when we first met. Employees were not supposed to date, but eventually we did and the rest is history!
Like any couple, we have had our ups and downs, our happy and not so happy times, our challenges and trials and our victories and rewards! There is no…’and they lived happily ever after‘ without loving each other, liking each other, being best friends, praying together and for each other and of course putting God first in your lives and your home!
Now in this next phase of our lives, we are enjoying our Granddarlings and our photography together! Paul has been involved in photography since he was a child. For me it was only about 6 years ago that I discovered my passion for photography!
I am very blessed by God. He has blessed me with a wonderful husband , 2 wonderful children and 5 super wonderful Granddarlings! Paul has always been a great husband and father and now a PawPaw! He has taken care of us, loved us and been there to help us see our dreams and desires come true. He has always been and still is a hard worker. In fact, he is somewhat of a ‘perfectionist’ when it come his work. He is my husband, he is the father of my children and he is my best friend!
Paul is always the one behind the camera so here are a few that over the last few years I’ve been able to capture!
Have a wonderfully blessed day filled with love!

Trials, Tribulations, Temptations
Posted: January 17, 2013 Filed under: Uncategorized | Tags: be a blessing, blessings, challenges, daily walk with Jesus, don't blame God, getting to know God, God's Word, trials, victory Leave a comment »Are you one of those people that have trials, tribulations and temptations coming at you what seems like a lot? Or are you one of those that everything in your life goes without any challenges? Well, let me tell you something…If you never are faced with any challenges then there is something not right in your life because satan is not bothering with you because he doesn’t have too! He is already in control of your life!
When you love God, have faith in Him and are sharing your love for Him in not just words, but in how you live your life, then you will have trials, temptations, challenges popping up! Then you can be sure you are on the right track!
The more you love Him, honor Him, obey Him and His Word and share Him, the stronger the trials, temptations and challenges! The wonderful thing is that through all this, your faith and trust become stronger! You learn who you are in Christ Jesus. That you are in this world but not of this world. You learn to stand on God’s Word, to take the Authority you have been given In Jesus’ Name! You learn who your Provider, your Source is and you can actually “Consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides. You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors. So don’t try to get out of anything prematurely. Let it do its work so you become mature and well-developed, not deficient in any way.” James 1: 2-4 The Message.
God Bless you today as you grow, become strengthened and mature in God, His Word and His Love!
Love and Blessings In Jesus’ Name,

Granddarlings aka Grandchildren
Posted: January 14, 2013 Filed under: Uncategorized | Tags: God's Blessings, Grandchildren, Granddarlings, Memories, The Supreme Gift Leave a comment »There is nothing more precious on this earth than Granddarlings aka Grandchildren! Oh, our children are one of God’s greatest gifts, but we get so busy providing for, raising, disciplining and teaching them that we sometimes forget to fully enjoy them! Then God presents us with one of His Supreme gifts…GRANDCHILDREN!
Grandchildren are an extension of our children! Have you heard the expression payback? Well, in a lot of ways that is true ~ you can see a lot of your child in your child’s child, but sometimes you can also see your child’s sibling or even yourself when you were a child! You can also witness the wonderful gifts God has placed in them and the unending possibilities!
Your heart swells with an unconditional love like non other; you have the opportunity to love, enjoy, laugh, guide, teach and yes even discipline them without the day to day responsibilities! One of the most rewarding things is to watch them grow and mature not only physically but also spiritually! There is nothing more beautiful than a child’s faith and love for God the Father, Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit! I treasure the talks my Granddarlings and I have had and continue to have regarding our God! One of the most rewarding, enduring and most special things my Granddarlings has ever said to me was when Emma and Zachary were like 3 and 5. I was telling them how they were growing up too fast and Zachary said, ‘Mimi, we growing too fast?’ I said, ‘yes’ and Emma said ‘why’? I told them that there would come a day when they would be too busy and not need MiMi as much. Emma said, ‘I know what Mimi! When we grow up and have children, you can keep them and teach them about Jesus’! I will treasure this forever!
If you are blessed with a Granddarling(s) or Grandchildren, please treasure them beyond measure! Treasure every minute, every memory! They are truly one of God’s Supreme blessings!

Christopher, our first born Granddarling! Now a Man ~ a good-looking one at that ~ and on his way to becoming a Professor! We are so proud of all our Granddarlings! God is so good to us! Have a blessed day and remember to pray for, love on and thank God everyday for your precious Granddarlings aka Grandchildren!
Know Who You Are!

I am so thankful that I KNOW, HAVE A CLOSE PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH and TRUST God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son and The Holy Spirit!!! *satan is nothing but a little wimp! The only power he has is the power we give him by believing his lies and walking in fear, doubt and worry! he has no place in my life and I constantly remind him of his future and where he is spending eternity!
I may be in this world, but I am not of it! I am a Child of God Almighty! Jesus Christ (the Anointed One) is my Lord and Savior and The Holy Spirit is my Comforter who guides my every step!
Don’t believe the lies of satan. This Nation, The United States of America, is God’s Nation and He has not forsaken it, but it is up to us to stand strong and declare the Word of God over every situation; rebuke the evilness and to pray for and love our enemies with the Love of God! Hallelujah! All Glory to God Almighty!
Have a Highly Blessed, Divine Health, Prosperous Beyond Measure, Unprecedented Favor and Grace Above and Beyond Anything You Can Imagine Year of 2013!
Love and Blessings Always,

Colors of Life
Posted: December 1, 2012 Filed under: Uncategorized | Tags: blessings, daily walk with Jesus, fulfillment, getting to know God, Texas, The Seasons of Life, True Beauty Leave a comment »Colors represent the cycle of life! First there is Spring which is the time of birth and new, fresh beginnings. The trees come forth with new leaves and blossoms and flowers pushing up from the ground. After the drabness of winter we have greens and bright colors coming forth!
Next is Summer. The blossoms on the trees have turned into the fruit they produce and the flowers are blooming abundantly. There is a lush green to the grasses and trees everywhere! Summer represents the middle of life. When things have matured and and are in full bloom.
Next comes the Fall which is the Golden Years of Life with all the golden colors and the falling of leaves preparing for winter.
Lastly we have Winter, a time of shedding the outer clothing, lying dormant and preparing for a new beginning. As in life there comes the winter of shedding of our outer ‘clothing’ our bodies and stepping into eternal life with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Eternity is where we will see colors like never have been seen before and there will be no more winter! Only Spring, Summer and Fall!
Have a blessed day!
